The starting station of the zip line is directly above the Old Town, and the arrival one is on Citak’s Rock. The starting point in the Old Town can be reached by a hiking trail that starts behind tunnel 11 or by car from the town to the fortress.
The starting point is at an altitude of 499 meters, and the zip-line descends to an altitude difference of 20 meters. The adrenaline ride in specially made belts lasts one minute and crosses the canyon of Djetinja river and the route of the old railway in the length of 375 meters, which is enough for a unique view of the gorge of the river Djetinja and the Old Town. After descending to the arrival station on Citakova Stena, the return back to the Old Town is a 500-meter-long hiking trail (about ten minutes).

Zipline in the Old Town of Uzice is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm in the summer season, and depending on the needs of users, there is a possibility of correcting working hours.

A minimum body weight above 30 kilograms is required to ride the zip line. Minors (12-18 years old) can use the zip line with the consent of a parent or guardian given by phone or video call, while children up to 12 years can ride only in the presence of parents. If there is a delay during the descent, professional instructors will evacuate within 2 minutes.
Zip line is an exciting activity that is completely safe, but there are precautions that must be taken when descending. The professional team and the quality of the equipment play an important role. One of the most important things is to listen to the person in charge and wear safety equipment. Never start from the starting point until the guide gives the signal to start.
The following equipment is used during the descent: helmet, cable and safety ropes, straps, carabiner and pulleys. The guide will inspect the equipment before the descent and check that it is connected correctly.
The descent is tested with the highest quality equipment from renowned world manufacturers, on 1.5 tons of load capacity, while the load capacity of belts, straps and other elements is 2.5 tons. The zip line ride is in the belt, not in the seat, which provides additional attractiveness and safety.
