Walking and Hiking

The walk through the gorge of the Djetinja river starts from the City Beach, where you climb the stairs to the Old Railway Bridge, at the foot of the Old Town. For the needs of families with children and people with mobility difficulties, there is an elevator on the beach near the old hydroelectric power plant. In the continuation of the road, pedestrians can expect an adventure through 12 tunnels and 5 bridges, which were once the route of the train that connected Uzice with Sarajevo via Visegrad. The route in the length of 7 km to Staparska spa is asphalted, and the continuation to Lake Vrutci is a macadam road. All tunnels to Staparska Banja are lit.
